National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Science
NTUNHS, Taiwan’s first university of science and technology focused on nursing and health, is dedicated to cultivating skilled healthcare and management professionals. With three colleges—Nursing, Health Technology, and Human Development and Health—the university provides comprehensive academic programs from bachelor's to doctoral levels, addressing human needs throughout the lifespan.
To enhance students' technical skills and employability, NTUNHS launched the Smart Healthcare Interdisciplinary College in 2021, offering specialized programs: Smart Health Technology and Senior Health and Sports Health. These programs bring together technically gifted students from departments such as Information Management, Health Care Management, Exercise and Health Science, and Gerontological Health Care.
From 2022, the Senior Health and Sports Health Program expanded to include the Department of Infant and Child Care, forming the Senior and Sports Health and Infant Care Program. This program aims to develop top-tier professionals in infant and elderly care, promoting "young children nurturing and active aging" and providing an age-inclusive educational environment.
The special programs in the college focus on providing technically gifted students with learning and guidance, technical advancement, and employment connection planning. The special programs intend to achieve the goal of employment after graduation by strengthening practical courses.
