Geronology, Sports Health and Infant Care Program (4-year Program)
<Purpose of Talent Cultivation>
Due to the global medical challenges of low birthrate, aging populations, high medical costs, and infant care education, elderly care and precision medicine programs, along with related industries, have become key trends for the future. This Special Program aims to strengthen national health awareness and emphasize the value of physical and mental health for both infants and the elderly.
In addition to building expertise in infant and childcare, elderly care, and elderly health tourism, the Program incorporates infant and elderly sports sciences. This approach helps students grasp smart sports health technology concepts and strategies, developing talents with innovative skills in information technology, healthcare, and sports science.
<Educational Objectives>
The Program seeks to equip students with professional skills to address diverse care situations, such as early childhood education, early and rare disease treatments, and elderly healthcare. It aims to develop high-quality professionals for Taiwan's and the global infant and elderly care sectors.
Students will follow a tailored learning path, starting with basic courses based on their interests. They will then progress to professional and technical modules to earn relevant licenses. This prepares them for careers in childcare institutions, kindergartens, infant education services, or in senior care, elderly health, and fitness-related industries, where they will also engage in practical and internship experiences.
